Together we’re working towards a cure for childhood cancer.
We are sad to announce the CHAMP Postponed 2020 Event slated for January 30, 2021 has been cancelled due to the increase in Covid-19 cases in Arizona.
We have been watching closely the Covid-19 figures and the upward trend coming up to the holiday season is very concerning. The risk to the immune compromised and also the stringent measures we would be required to take to protect all involved would be costly, risky and not guaranteed to be effective in preventing the spread of the pandemic. The next annual CHAMP event will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!
If you have registered already or have a team established for the 5k, registration will automatically roll over to 2021. If this will cause financial hardship, please let us know and we will gladly refund your registration fee. In early February we will be awarding the Largest Team Award and the Highest Fundraising Team for 2020 based on the figures we see on the registration platform on January 30, 2021. Please continue to encourage registration as the Early Bird pricing has been reinstated. Pricing will increase on February 1, 2021.

We’re CHAMP. Over 2,000 attendees and more than 28 non-profit organizations join together for the annual collaborative childhood cancer event. We invite you to join us on September 18, 2021, as we raise awareness for childhood cancer causes and celebrate the childhood cancer community. Start the day off with a 5K run or walk with friends then share a pancake breakfast. Afterwards there will be food, activities, vendors, and dozens of non-profit organizations on hand with hundreds of ways you can get involved and help make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer. September is pediatric cancer awareness month. Join us as we celebrate these brave young children and advocate for the community.
In memory of Kurtis Dale Le Febre.
All donations will provide retreats for families of children currently on treatment for cancer.
