All about CHAMPIONS

Supporting, celebrating and honoring children impacted by a childhood cancer diagnosis

Mission

CHAMP provides respite, support, and hope to children and families facing childhood cancer by orchestrating the annual CHAMP Event in September and hosting no-cost On-Treatment Retreats.

While children with cancer get to take a break from focusing on treatment and spend time with others facing similar health hurdles, siblings and parents find solace and strength in a supportive community, sharing experiences and establishing connections with those who understand the unique challenges they face.

By uniting non-profits dedicated to treating and eradicating childhood cancer, CHAMP’s efforts raise awareness, educate community members and provide critical support and resources to families impacted by pediatric cancer diagnoses.

During the September event, resources and support services come together in a single location, giving families unprecedented access to an extended support system. While the fundraiser raises money for a great cause, it also promises plenty of fun for attendees, with a 5k Run/Walk, a breakfast and a booth fair all part of the festivities. CHAMP’s event also includes a CHAMPION Walk, which honors and celebrates children currently in treatment and remission as well as those who’ve earned their wings.

Join us this and every September to encourage hope and healing for every child and family impacted by the challenges of childhood cancer.
