Carry A Bead

The Carry a Bead program recruits caring individuals to share their strength and courage with a child or teen coping with a serious illness through the connection of beads. Individuals will Carry a Bead with them during the event while infusing the bead with good intentions and caring. The bead that is carried is then returned to Beads of Courage to become an Act of Courage bead, given to children on tough treatment days. Each participating individual will receive a matched bead on a backpack clip to remind them of their shared strength and commitment to care.
